One of my close friends is over today, while we hang out a lot, the dude doesn't know jack about cars. I, naturally, handed him a MacBook and told him to write about cars. While it may not be gut bustingly hilarious like !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! article with a similar concept, this is what he came up with. I present to you, Cars Through the Eyes of Non-Car People
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
"Hello, friends and car lovers! As the title implies, I am not a "car guy." As much as I would love to learn everything and anything about cars, it is just not my thing, but there is nothing I admire more than the passion shown by those who adore vehicles of any kind. I see that in Matt every he gets to talking about them, and trust me, he talks about them a lot. Personally, I am a hockey fan, and when I compare my true love of my Chicago Blackhawks to my buddy's admiration for vehicles, I see no difference. I have a huge amount of respect for anyone that has such large knowledge and love for something so unique and interesting. I know that it seems that someone who is not a car fanatic seems that they simply do not care about it, but the truth is, nearly everyone that does not know about cars really wishes they knew EVERYTHING about cars. When I hear people talking auto, there is not a doubt in my mind that I really wish that I could jump in with some cool car talk, but sadly, I obviously know nothing, and no other hobby has that effect on me. When I hear two guys talking hard-core Pokemon, I don't think to myself "Wow, i really wish i could chat with those fellas!" But when it comes to shooting the haps on the latest Nissan, I really wish I could jump in and join the car convo. It really is one of the most fascinating hobbies in my opinion, and I totally understand why someone would dedicate their lives to fixing, driving, or learning about vehicles, and who knows, maybe some day, I'll come around to it and try to become an auto know-it-all, but for now, the NHL playoffs are upon us! I guess what you can take away from this is that anyone that may act like they couldn't care less about anything car related, they are probably lying. If you are a car guy, I admire you deeply, so talk on you talkers of cars, because you are respected."
So I guess there is still hope for some of mankind.

go blues.
But I really don't know much about hockey. I know I don't like Chicago or Detroit, or that's who I'm not supposed to like. I mentioned the article on deadspin about some gal flashing at the hockey game to coworkers, then they started actually talking hockey, all I could say was "really," "oh yeah," and "OK."

You should have your friend do another write-up about his decision process when looking to buy a new car.
